By rack railway you get up from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Grainau or Eibsee to the Schneeferner Glacier.
From there the glacier cable car takes you to German's highest summit - you are awaited by a breath-taking 360 degree panoramic view.
The Eibsee cable car takes you back down into the valley.
